Hi TF, Thanks for this information. In looking at the information we have, we believe William Bowan McCarty is the son of Julius McCarty and Emiline Procter. Julius is the son of William Wilson McCarty and grandson of William McCarty. William Wilson and his siblings all lived in Falling Springs twp, Ozark Co, MO in the 1860 census as did Larkin McCarty, but we have no indication that there was a relationship here, other than the common surname. We have William Bowan McCarty m. Carrie A. Logan in 1897. Do you have more information on this family?
