AR Census living next door to Eliza Comstock (Delilah's mother). In 1900 Big Creek twp, Fulton Co AR Census, Delilah Shoemate is listed as a widow, mother of 3/3 living. Children in household with her are Ida A. (1892) and John F (1895) In 1910 Delilah Comstock is in Big Creek twp, Fulton Co. AR census, divorced. Children Ida and John live with her and son W. S. (William Samuel) Shoemate lives next door. We assume that William and Delilah were divorced by 1900 and by 1910 Delilah is going by her maiden name Comstock. In 1910 Pleasant Ridge Fulton Co. Census is Shoemate, William F 68 md 10 yrs Martha E. 39 had 0 children Johnson, Maybell 7 lodger It is possible that this is William Shoemate with a second wife???? His age seems to fit. In the Riverside Cem - near Mammoth Springs Shoemate, Wm. Co. K 32 MO Inf. Mar 07, 1840 - June 02, 1928 We don't know if this is William Shoemate who m. Delilah Comstock.
