Can anyone help me with a Freemon Matheny (Matheney, Natheny, Natheney or any other spelling you can come up with) who married to a Neoma (Nemia) Morton. She was the daughter of Thomas Morton and his first wife Sarah Jane Beck. She was born 28 of Feb 1858 in AR. That is about all I really know. She did have a second marriage to someone with surname Terry. She had a daughter by one of these husbands. The daugher went by Arrie but I believe is was probably short for Arabella as that was a family name that was often used. This Arabella Matheny/Terry was named in her grandfather, Thomas Morton's, will. We have never been able to trace Neoma or Arrie at all. We think they were living in Texas when Thomas Morton died in 1889. Sarah Jane Beck Morton died about 1864 or so. Any ideas would be appreciated. db
