URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT The 28th ANNUAL REUNION of the LANGSTON FAMILY and KINSMEN ORIGINIZATION will be held Saturday, June 11, 2005 at the North Arkansas Electric Building in Salem, AR. A form for the meal was on the back of the newsletter (we goofed and the price of the meal was left out, but not on purpose) that needs to be sent back to me as soon as possible, so we can get an accurate count to tell the caterer. Anyone wishing to attend that did not get a Newsletter can contact me by Email, and I will get right back to you. The noon meal will be catered by the Cattleman’s Restaurant in Salem. The price for the lunch is $8.75 for adults and this needs to be paid for before June 9 so we can pay the caterer. The menu is fried chicken, roast beef, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes, slaw, cake, peach cobbler, tea, coffee and hot rolls Come and get together to talk about genealogy, and the many families that tie into the Langston’s, and their history, plus enjoy a scrumptious meal. Last year we had several displays, pictures, quilts, charts, books, etc. Since people come from all over the U.S. we have a lot of fun and enjoy talking to everyone about their families. There will be door prizes and a surprise, which I think all you will enjoy.
