Yes, I would like to receive the newsletter also. Thanks, Janice Callahan
Thanks Liz, I think that Wanda (Ware) Hobbs is an indirect descendent of John S Hutcherson. If not, I am sure they would like to have the pictures. If you want, I can help you with an article on John S., after I get my research papers in hand. Gene S.
Yes Gene, I do have a very nice picture that is the same one printed in Vester Williams book that says he is John S. Hutchenson.......I will send it to both you and Jim/Wanda. I have always thought the picture was of a grandparent but unless Mr Williams made a mistake with both the picture and name, it isn't. Are Jim/Wanda either a descendant of his and do you know others who are? He was quite a busy person. I will locate, and send to you as soon as my kids leave for Denver, on Sunday. Do you have any photographs of Dr Hutcherson or anyone else buried in the Hutcherson Cemetery? I would like to have a copy of them and I am sure that Jim & Wanda Hobbs would like pictures also. How about Rands in Elizabeth Cemetery? That would make a good story for your history book. I would like to make contact with someone researching the Hutcherson line in Fulton Co. I have my mother in law's picture box and in it I found a picture of a gentlemen who also appears in Vester William's book in Fulton Co. library as John S. Hutchenson. That story says he was a doctor and minister of the Church of Christ in Wild Cherry area. The cemetery book of Fulton Co. shows him buried at Hutcherson Cemetery near Wild Cherry. There is no death date for him in this cemetery book so perhaps he had the other stones placed in that cemetery while he was living and no one was left to have his death date engraved? I am wondering if there was a marriage connection with either Rands or Shoemates since those are the principal families in the family picture box. > From: ARFULTON-D-request@rootsweb.com > Reply-To: ARFULTON-L@rootsweb.com > Date: Thu, 25 Nov 2004 15:00:03 -0700 > To: ARFULTON-D@rootsweb.com > Subject: ARFULTON-D Digest V04 #65 >
