    2. Pansylea, I just started doing this search on my Smith line, all I had to start with was my grandfather's name; (my grandfather) HARRY N. SMITH b.Jan.29,1899 or 1900 Denning Arkansas.(he died B'ham,Alabama in the 1970's) Later I learned: His parents were; Laura Bell EUBANKS in Coal Hill Arkansas abt.1881 or1885 & JOHN THOMAS SMITH b.Feb.11,1871 Alix Arkansas. (Laura died 1918 in Illinois) with pneumonia. John drank alot after his 1st wife died& wasn't allowed by my grandmother to come around her home, his son,or my mom. Laura's parents were; Jasper Eubanks & Anna ACORD John's parents were; ROBERT J. (possibly John) SMITH b.abt1845-1846 TN. Mahela or Mahala D. HAMPTON b. March 25.1851. Robert either left or died before Noah was born. She married Jesse Armstrong in Johnson County onOct.4,1874,divorced him and married him again. On JOHN T.SMITH's death record (not death certificate) it says his father was JOHN SMITH It also states that he was married to someone named Rose? John died June 1946 while living in Altus Arkansas. On census I learned that he had a brother named NOAH SMITH that was born abt.1874. I know nothing else about this family except for their was Native American blood somewhere in the direct line of JOHN THOMAS SMITH. I have one picture of him. I have heard that all of the Smith families tied in together that lived in COAL HILL in that time period. Any suggestions? I keep hitting brick walls and I don't know what to look for except for a link between Robert and another Smith in Johnson County. Thanks for your time and help. Karen
