    3. I am doing Franklin Co., AR SMITH research in the 1860s and 1870s, for Samuel M. Smith, who enlisted in the Union Army First AR Cavalry, Co. M, in Franklin Co., AR in 1863. He was born in 1836 in Monongalia Co., western VA and a resident of Mulberry, Franklin Co., AR by 1863. Does he connect to your Smith in Franklin Co.? Thanks.
