They are listed in the Ouachita Co., AR. Census in 1850 and 1860. Rebecca's family were from Jackson Co., Alabama. 4. James Bennett: Born 1815 in Alabama; no other information known. 5. WELCOME K. BENNETT: born about 1820 - d. 1860. Married Elizabeth "Betsy" STOGSDILL...My line, I am writing a book on his line... 6. Lucinda Bennett; Born 1821 in Alabama. She married William Billings (no other information known.) Some researchers have reported that they were enumerated on the 1850 census of Ouachita Co., Ark.

By 1870, they are listed in the 1870 Franklin County, AR Census in the Mulberry Township. I am interested in this line because I believe that Pleasant's brother was WELCOME K. BENNETT, who was my ggggrandfather (Welcome settled in Oregon County, MO by 1860). Am looking for confirmation and documentation that the above Pleasant was in fact, Welcome's brother.     2. I too have THOMPSON family. Little is know about them. My great grandmother was Martha Marina THOMPSON married to Jim DOYLR in about 1879. They had two daughters, Martha Marina, and Sallie Gertrude DOYLE. Their mother died when they were small children, maybe in about 1890. We think she died at Shoal Creek, Logan County, AR. Elizabeth Landers born 1-1-1815 died 9-3-1896 they had 13 children gave each child 40 acres when they married. Land cemetery is on is owned by Harold Garber. 1. Julia Hicks 1-1-1834 Putman Ind, died 1-1-1880 Hale, Carroll, Mo. 2. William Hicks 1-1-1836 Campbell Co. Va. died 1-1-1855 william was on the 1850 census but not on 1860 Carroll co. mo. assumed he died during move would have been in early teens named after his grandfather. 3. John Hicks 12-1-1836 Campell Co. Va died 11-27-1907 Porum Ok 4. T. Jane Hicks 1-1-1842 Campbell Co. Va died 1-1-1942 Her first husband was John W.
