Looking for info on a Jerry J. Morris......He could have been called Jerimiah. He moved to Altus in 1867 and married a Georgia Averyhardt. They had 11 children. I believe his father was William Morris and mother Virginia A (Adams) Morris. Jerry and family lived in Doniphan Mo for a while. He was born in Randolph Ill., in 1853. I am trying very hard to connect him to my family tree. I do believe he belongs there, but would like to make sure. Thanks for all of you help. Pat

For me to not request the word of the people to place in my family record would be an unspeakable mistake for my ancestors to come to deal with. Calling all history buffs and geneologists. I have created a Survey that asks questions about this wonderous time in our nations history. If you would like to leave behind some kind of message to our ancestors to come here is your chance. This survey will be included in my family history so that my child, and grandchildren shall truly know what it was like to be an American during this historic time.
