I have been given the permission to welcome all for the first (at least American) World Wide Dent Reunion in Maryland, U.S.A. For more details contact the email address below, and as we say here "Get the show on the road" I won't be able to be there physically in my condition, but encourage those that will and those that can't, help to make this one heck of an event. Let's have pictures, of those known and unknown, stories spread throughout the year, fiction and all. Maps and directions, places and things. Just much of any OLE thing that can add to the pleasure. Where will be announced later and thank you is in order, if you post this on your site to notify those who may be interested. Who knows what links could be found. I know my family of Woolley/Willey, and O'Neal, Neal, etc. are in there somewhere. We will be glad to welcome all those that care to come or share. Dentreunion@yahoogroups.com

    2. Hi Marlene! I don't know who Al is, but I am so thrilled that you have found my family!! I haven't been successful in finding anything on my ggrandmothers side. My mom is going to be so excited. She is 76, will be 77 next week and this will be a great present for her. I can hardly believe how special people who research family lines are. Truly angels with but one purpose of helping others out! May God bless you and yours! I really appreciate it! Let me know if I can help out in any way, shape or form! Cheryl

You know, it makes me happy to find family for people. In fact, almost as good as finding some of my own relatives too.

    1. [FRANKLIN] Jane C. (Nichols) RICE
    2. Betty Gordon
    3. Hello, I am wondering if someone has the 1870 census for Franklin Co., Ark.? I'm looking for my ancestor, Jane C. (Nichols) Rice in 1870. Jane was b. 1838 AL d. 1929 Greene Co., MO. In 1850 she was listed in the household of her father, Lawson NICHOLS in White Oak Twp, Franklin Co., Ark. In 1860 she was listed in the household of her husband, Bird Calvin RICE (same location). Her husband died in Springfield, MO Oct. 1864. (He has joined the Arkansas Cav. in Ft. Smith along with a number of NICHOLS & RICE people.) I do not know if Jane went with her husband to Springfield, Mo when he mustered into the Cav. or if she stayed in Arkansas. I can not find Jane in 1870 in Greene or Christian Co., Mo. census. She is in Greene Co., Mo in 1880 and until the end of her life. I would appreciate any help you might be able to provide. Thank you for your time. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/GV.2ADI/221.1.1.1.1.1.2 Message Board Post: Mr. Johnson, I think you might be a link to information that I need. My great grandfather, Joseph F. Hooper, b. 1826 (IL) was listed on the 1860, and 1870 census for Franklin County. He had a wife and children. His wife died sometime before 1875, and it appears that at least two young children did also. And, from the children in the 1860 census, the 3 year old daughter, M.A., seems to be gone. I know that one of his daughters, Sidney Salina, married Charles Fletcher Barnhill, Aug. 1, 1869, and it appears that a Mary Hooper, married Thomas Burkes, 1870, is also his daughter. I have been told that he is the only Hooper family in Franklin County, during those census times. Can you find death, and marriage information for Franklin County? By 1880, Joseph F. Hooper was in Logan County, married to my great grandmother. From what I understand, they most likely did not move, the county line changed. In 1850, Joseph was in Scott County, 23, and living alone. 1860, he had a wife and children in Franklin County. He was in the Civil War, H-1 Ark Infantry, Union. 1870, he is in Franklin County, with same wife, and more children. His daughter, Sidney Salina gave birth to Henry Barnhill, 1870, and is believed to have died shortly after. I am sorry, I know I have rambled. I hope you can help me find some information. I do not have time to "cull" as I work very full time. Dori Hooper
