I don't "reckon" I'm subscribed to the Drew list because I had to go to the archives to see if there were any reponses to my query on the Pevey/McQuiston families. Thanks to everyone who responded. My son-in-law, Lewis Wade Partridge is the gg-grandson of Thomas Nicholson and Addie Lou Moore Pevey. Their daughter, Mary would be his g-grandmother. Mary married John William Tucker, Addie's parents were S. W. and Mary Jane Watts Moore and she was born in Lafayette Co., MS. I was told that Addie's mother married Andrew McQuistion, but I couldn't find anything to actually substantiate the fact. I've seen Addie listed as his wife, but she would have been quite alot younger than him. What was Andrew's first wife's maiden name? Odd that in 1900 Drew Co., Andrew was married to Mary J.. Then in the cemetery records I find Mary J. Moore McQuistion buried in the same cemetery with Andrew. There has to be some kind of connection here, but until I find the maiden name of Andrew's wife, then I simply shooting in the dark for an answer.
