    3. Oct. 27, 1925 Drew Advance: Mesdames S.S. Cassady and J.T. Peacock spent Tuesday in Little Rock, shopping. Mrs. Bennie Dunn of McGehee, spent the day Wednesday with her mother, Mrs. J.W. Oswald. Mr. Caldwell of Monticello is acting section foreman during the absence of O.M. Anchors. We are glad to report that Mr. O.M. Anchors who is still in the Mo. Pac. hospital at Little Rock is rapidly improving and the doctors report him out of danger. H.E. Brown has been removed from the Mo.Pac. hospital at Little Rock to his home here is slowly improving. Those attending the State Fair were: Hardy Peacock, Harry Appleberry and Jessie Lee, Mrs. B.F. Payne, Jim Hopkins, Dad Sanderson and Roy L. Byrn. J.M. Heflin has moved into the house recently vacated by W.A. Reynolds who moved to Pine Bluff. Mrs. B.C. Pruett of Tillar, spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. T.C. Rogers and Miss Buna Pruett. Mrs. Mildred Ballard spent the week end with homefolks at Tillar. Miss Buna Pruett also spent the week with relatives at Crossett. J.C. LaGrone of Walnut Lake was a business visitor to our city, Wednesday. Mrs. Lessenberry of Waynne (sic) is visiting Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Brown. Mrs. A.R. Brown of Rayville, La, have returned after several days visit with Mr. Browns parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Brown. Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Rogers spent the day Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Hopkins at Jefferson. Misses Emma Rogers, Mary Myrtle Jones and Natilea Hopkins of Jefferson, went shopping at McGehee, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. S.S. Cassady and son, Chilton, spent Saturday in Pine Bluff. Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Collins and family have returned from Dallas Texas State Fair. They also visited Mr. Collins sister, Mrs. O.M. Addington. From Dallas they went in to Malone, where they spent a few days, the guest of Mr. Charles Collins, brother of Mr. Collins. They made the trip in their new Dodge Touring Car. Mr. Frank Appleberry of Selma was a business visitor here Saturday. Skinny Nunn of Dumas was in town Tuesday. Mrs. S.S. Wilson of Yukon, was a State Fair visitor last week. Mr. Joel D. Newton of Jefferson leaves tonight on a business trip to Chattanooga, Tenn. Mesdames C.W. and J.W. Oswald and Mrs. Louis Zeno attended a meeting of the O.E.S. at Tillar Friday evening.
