Does anyone know who "D.R. Hanks" was, where he came from, etc? There were a couple of Hanks folks who married into the Loveless family in Tishomingo County, MS. One of these Hanks/Loveless families ended up in Pope County, AR. The other one ended up around Titus County, TX. "Hanks" is probably a common enough Southern name that it's just wishful thinking on my part that this "D.R. Hanks" is any relation to these other Hanks people. Anybody got any idea? --Melissa
