Nancy, I am an English teacher, but this is another of my favorites: "spit & image" Did you know that this originally was the "spirit and image." We Southerners really FIXED(*smile*) this one. How about "I don't know him from Adam's all fox." Would you believe it used to be "Adam's off ox"?
