He was some relation to the larger man called Ed Ahrens. He left Monticello where they were married and moved to Eldorado. They had two daughters, Catherine and Peggy. Peggy is still alive and living in Cleveland , GA. She is the youngest grandchild of my grandmother's first cousins.
