She was born at Tillar to Drew and Katherine Campster Owens. She attended school at Tillar and at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Greenland Boost- er Club. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Carol Lynn Johnson of Fayetteville; one son, James "Jay" Johnson of Pine Bluff; one daughter, Peggy Ann Hillman of Fayetteville; eight grand- children; one great-grandson. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Beard's Funeral Home in Fayetteville with James Goff and Lester Shad- rick officiating. Carolyn
