Hi, Betty, I have never heard of Maggie Brown. All my Browns came out of theTyro area, and later , Coleman community. GG grandfather Alexander Brown, wife Mary Chamberlain Brown, Their son William (1868-1956) married Willie Womack in 1887...they had kids: Wm Leroy, Clemmie, Clara, Garvin (Pat) Jennie, Arch, and Fred. The closest to a Maggie was my Gr Gr aunt, Martha Ann Brown (1854-1942) who married Winfield Scott Paschall in 1875. No known link to a Hogue. Sorry I can't be more helpful. Bill Brown in Dallas
