Beth Thurman and James (Jimmy?) Jones, Once again I am trying to get all caught up on e-mail. The name "Jimmy Jones" caught my eye because my Uncle Earl Jones had a son named Jimmy. I think he lives somewhere in Texas now, but I am not sure. This Jimmy was a brother to Charley Jones (d. 1982), Billy Dean Jones who lives in Monticello, and Jackie Jones who was a state trooper down around Drew County somewhere. Other siblings are Marcelle Jones Trantham and Judy Jones (I don't know her married name). Just thought another Drew County "Jimmy Jones" was a neat coincidence. I have also found an "Earle Jones" in the 1920 census...too old to be my Uncle Earl, but I have wondered if there might be some kind of connection with our Joneses. Beth is right, our Joneses were in Possum Valley, so I don't know if we connect to any of the Lacey Joneses.
