Amy, IF the AR 1910 Soundex is accurate, this Jesse D. Heflin would not seem to be the son of George H. Heflin. That census has the following listings: Cleveland Co. Jessie D. Heflin, age 24, b. AR Lettie E. (wife) age 22, b. AR Drew Co. In the household of George H. Heflin, son Jessie is listed as being age 4.
