This was my thought as well. I will be honest and tell everyone that I had every suspicion that my great-grandpa was going to be in the KKK minutes that Rebecca found. He was not in them, but I wouldn't have been disappointed to find him. It is another piece to add to the family puzzle. It is not my place to pass judgment on my ggf; he died over 40 years before I was born. As someone once said, "You can't choose your ancestors!" Everyone's opinion is welcome, and I am glad to get a discussion going so quickly on this subject. We have talked here before about 'skeletons'. One person's skeleton may be just another nugget of family history to someone else. Myself, I am insatiably curious and want to know everything. But I also respect others' wishes when they would rather see things discussed privately than out in public. Keep those opinions coming! --Melissa
