Courtney.......There were several Courtneys that intermarried into the Oneal and Horn families in tbe Prairie Chapel area east of Lacey. Mrs. Hettie Nell Horn can probably striaghten these out if anyone can. Her husband Shelby was the son or grandson (I think) of one of these, and they were all in the Oneals....I even think one married into the Thurman clan. I'd have to do some checking. Also, some courtneys lived in th e eastern portion of the county down around the Jordan settlement and towards Old Troy and Wolf Creek. Lots of Courtneys used to be in Drew Co.
