AR on the Drew County Mailing List. I found them by searching the archived mailing list. I have not subscribed because I have too many active mailing lists which produce too much e-mail, and sometimes just chit-chat, arguments, etc., making it necessary for me to do alot of deleting. Anyway maybe you could "post" this for me. As you can see I still have a lot of missing information. There were several HAYNES families in the Drew/Lincoln Counties area because ELI KING HAYNES was just one branch of a large family. Thank you. He married 91) Bessie Ellen Sypert 19 Feb 1838 in Hickman Co. KY. He married (2) Sarah J. Slythe 03 Feb 1850 in Hot Springs, AR. Eli King Haynes lived in Kentucky during the early years of his first marriage and migrated to Drew County, AR before 1850. He was a County Representative to the AR State Legislature and a county probate judge. 1. Zillah Haynes b. abt 1838 KY, married George W. Clower, 18 Oct 1857 Drew Co. AR. 2. Margaret C. Haynes b. abt 1842 KY, married (1) Daniel M. Neil 16 Sep 1858 Drew Co. AR and married (2) William Thomasson before 1876. 3. Thomas W. Haynes b. abt 1843 KY, married Agnes (Unknown) abt. 1866. 4. Bene Ellen Haynes b. 07 Dec 1844 Ballard Co. K, d. 21 Jan 1916 Cornerville, AR (bur. Cornerville Cemetery) m. Hamilton Cooper Stephens, May 1865. 5. Louisa Haynes b. abt 1852 6.
