Rodgers/Rogers who was born in Martin Co, NC) MILAM (I actually have the Milam line fairly well researched) GRUBBS (stuck with Elisha C. Grubbs, born in SC around 1800) SCOGGINS/SCOGIN/SCROGGINS (I have this line fairly well done, too) WELCH (Louisa Welch who married Richard W. Rodgers/Rogers, was the daughter of Mark G. and Sibbell Welch. I'm stuck with them) NEIL (Mary or Martha Jane Neil, mother of my great-grandfather, Almond Gwinn Milam) JACKSON (two lines: The first is through the Grubbs line - Elizabeth Margrett Jackson, daughter of Greenberry Jackson and Basheba LONG Phelps, who married Stephen Henderson Grubbs. I'm stuck with Greenberry Jackson and Basheba Long Phelps, although I'm pretty sure that her maiden name was Long and Phelps was the name of her first husband. The second Jackson line is through the Scogin line, which I have fairly well researched.) LONG (Basheba Long Phelps, mentioned above) HENDERSON (Mary Ann Henderson who married Elisha C. Grubbs. She remarried after he died to Joseph Welch. She was in Drew County for a while and then went with two of her sons to California. I'd like to know who her parents were.)
