I have a paper she wrote that says her mother was Alice SHELTON and her parents were Marion and Elizabeth SHELTON from Drew County near Monticello. She mentioned a place called Plantersville. Her paper mentions a brother (of Elizabeth I think), Tommie Allen, and a sister Mrs Lizzy JORDAN. She mentions brothers of Alice Willie SHELTON and George SHELTON. My guess is that Alice was born around 1860-1865. That would make Marion Shelton born around 1840. Any information on the Sheltons would be greatly appreciated.
