Peggy, Medical records will be hard to find for the early years. The only hope would be if they were passed down through the family of the physician who attended this lady. I was surprised to find a lot of the original physician documents that were donated to the archives at UAMS, but it is doubtful you will find anything unless they were donated. Odd thing, and one that most people are unaware of...in the old medical records much genealogy is found. I am currently transcribing the records of my boss's grandfather who was a physician on the old Scott Plantation at Scott, Arkansas in the late 1800's. Some of the records date back to the patient's grandparents. Many of these records list the parents, grandparents and places of birth. A wealth of information. If you find anything, please let me know. Jann On Tue, 13 Feb 2001 10:13:09 Peggy Calk wrote: >Does anyone know where I might get medical records for the Wilmar area around 1914.
