Ar Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Drew/79 Surname: YATES ------------------------- I'm looking for any Yates that are related to Layfette and Mary Olive YATES.They lived in Drew or Ashley Co.,Ark.in the late 1800's.Layfette died in 1903 and Mary Olive died in Crossett,Ark.in 1940.They had several children:Louis Andrew,Chester,Fannie Myrtle,Jessie Mae,Annie,Ed,and Alice Louise.Alice is the one I'm most interested in.Her daughter,Marie, is 87 and not in the best of health and has asked me to find out some things about her family.I can't get into Ashley Co.,something is wrong with their website,but I know that Annie was in Drew Co.Chester stayed around Wilmot(Ashley Co.).I think Ed did,too.Louis ended up in Joplin, Mo.,Fannie in New Orleans,Jessie in Pampa,Tx.,and Alice moved eventually to El Dorado,Ar,.Would appreciate any more info on this family.
