Murlene, Can you give any dates on your Barrett's? There is a William Seymour Barrett b: January 30, 1867 Madison Co., TX +Loula Bracie McDonald in our family tree. He is a descendent of Reuben Barrett who was b. in VA. With the Seymour name there, it has to be a connection some where. Most of these Barretts settled for a while in Neshoba County, MS.
