All the interesting facts about the Arkansas earthquakes reminded me of the time shortly after my father's death in 1957 his insurance agent came to see me to go over the policies for Dad's property in Drew County. He said my father, John Boyd, had the only earthquake insurance policy his company (Hardware Mutual) wrote in the whole state of Arkansas.
