Hi, there, I found John P. WOMACK on a federal land record for Jan. 15, 1858, buying land in Drew County at 35-11S-5W 0. I think this was near the Montongo area northwest of Monticello. What puzzles me is that I can't find John on the 1860, 1870, or 1880 census. (I don't have acces to the 1850 census) I also checked Lincoln County. I think John P. may be related to my known GG GF, Alexander WOMACK,(may be Alexander William or William Alexander) on the 1870 Drew co census, with wife, Mary and daughter, Willie, age 1.
