Bea -- Thanks for the info but I have already been there. I know that the marriage of Elisha Baker and Caroline Forkner (I believe that is the way they spelled it) is listed in Drew Co., AR. However, although I have copies of the marriage licenses of Jeremiah Funderburk and Samantha Baker Nolen, in 1888, and a copy of the marriage license of Jeremiah Funderburk and Mary Molly Lee in 1896, they are not listed in the marriage records. I have looked at those records a million times and suspect that Hernando, MS located in DeSoto Co., MS was a popular elopement point (at least I know it was back in the 1950's) and suppose it could have been during the 1800's also. Alice, you do know that Drew County was originally a very large county and then other counties started up and took away a lot of their land. When I discovered this I was able to check those other counties for info. Example, the County I thought would have all our records in was Lincoln County, did not developed until 1871. Go to the map of those counties in Ar. and check surrounding counties that touch Drew Co. Bea
