> Tell us about Possum Valley days..... It's an annual festival/homecoming for Valley folks and visitors. Very well attended. Craft show, quilt show, games, talent show, several bands, etc. Good food. A dance at night. Some of the games are quite unique. One is the possum race. Another is the chicken drop. Chickens are placed in a pen with squares marked on the dirt floor. If you guess the square where a chicken "drops" you win the prize. Proceeds go to the community center.
