I am looking for info on the "WALL" family in Drew County. David Burton married Mary Ann WALL on December 29, 1869 in Drew Co. He was born in June, 1847 in MS; Mary Ann Wall was born in MS about 1850. They both died in Drew County; some records say burial was in the Union Ridge Cemetery, but there is no stone. According to a granddaughter, his son David S. Burton did not know where. My line descended from David T. Burton thru O. P. (Polan/Pollen) Burton thru Stanley, then William O. Burton. I was hoping to find infor about the WALL family in hopes that someone can help. The last of the line that I know was Mr. H. W. "Mutt" Wall who died in 1995 here in Drew Co. Who was his father? He was often called by the nickname "Wash" Wall. I remember that he had a big orchard and grew really nice fruit on the Rough and Ready Hill on the old Troy Road which I believe is near the dog pound Any help is appreciated.
