Knowles do make this my last will & Testament, revoking all prior wills and testaments as follows. After paying all my just debts, I will devise and bequeath my estate real & personal as follows: 1st I devise & bequeath to my beloved wife Louisa Knowles, the following land & personal property in fee (?) simple to wit: The SE1/4 SE1/4 Sec 16. SW1/4 SW1/4 Sec 15. N1/2 NE1/4 NE1/4 Sec 21. and N1/2 NW1/4 NW1/4 Sec 22, all in Tp 14 S Range 8 West 120 acres of land lying in Drew County; also one sorrell mare & her colt & their increase; one red sow & her calf & their increase; one Jersey heifer and her increase & all my household & kitchen furniture and all farming implements & other household property of which I may die seized & owning such as saddles guns, watches &c. My children are as follows The children of my deceased daughter Dade Eubanks; Sarah Cowan; Jerry Knowles; John Knowles P.C. Knowles; Kajah Knowles. Hattie McCann Julia Glennon & Eliza Loveless to whom my said children & Grand children I desire & will that the remainder of my Real estate shall descend and go to in fee (?) as tenants in common as if by descent under the laws of this state. Brantley subscribing witnesses to the attached will of William Knowles dec'd do each of us solemnly swear that the said William Knowles being of sound & disposing mind & memory signed said instrument in writing in our presence and declared to us that it was his last will & testament and requested us to witness the same and we each of us in his presence and in the presence of each other signed said Will as attesting witnesses on the -- day of January 1896.
