His daughter was Mary Ella Owens; her son was Richard Harris Howell, Jr. (my g.father); his son is Richard Harris Howell, III (my dad). I am also descended from the Paynes, Spotswoods, & Dandridges. I have been looking for Ezekial's parents for years. My cousin was the head librarian of Clayton Genealogical Library and she couldn't find them. I am determined, but getting a little frustrated at the complete wall on him. Considering Adelia P. Payne's family was so noted, I would have thought something had been found on him by now.
