They are living in Veasey Township in between the William Teer household and the Henry Pulliam household. Nancy Riner is a widowed head of household with several children (Robert, Richard, Lucinda, Nancy, Mary, and John B.) There is a John B. Riner in the 1850 mortality index. Ancestry has his age as "24" but when I look at the record, it looks more like 40 or 41 to me. Could this be Nancy's husband? Robert Riner patented land in 1857 and again in 1860, next to the James S. Grubbs land. However, by 1860, the family appears in Hopkins County, Texas, which also happens to be where Margaret White and her husband William Teer went. Am very interested to learn more about this family.
