Bill, Our Brown family was from the same area. We even have an Alexander Brown but our dates do not match. Was your family originally from Catawba Co. N.C.? Our GGgrandfather came from there. Is it possible that your Alexander was his brother. Hi, Murlene, Thanks for writing. My Browns came from Chatham Co, NC,a s far as I know. I know about the Alexander Brown who married Amanda Morgan. Is he your guy?
