Saw your post and was sitting here thinking where I've come across the name Nichols before. two places- one set in Mississippi on my Dad's side and then another in Arkansas on my Mom's side. I'm descended though a sister of the Grace Soffar mentioned below but was just curious if you might be related to the bunch. Just by chance would you be related to a Ralph Nichols that married Grace Soffar. children were Ralph Nichols Jr. b. March 3, 1921 d. Feb. 24, 1922 and buried at Harmony Missionary Baptist church cemetery in Jefferson county, AR and two daughters Ferle Dean (Nichols) Bailey (youngest child) and another that is still living so I won't list her here. Grace later married Grover Poss.
