Can anyone tell me about Prairie Hall Methodist Church? Does it still exist? It seems like it was near Lacey. Does anyone know exactly where it was/is? I found a church register for Prairie Hall (1883-1933) that has been posted online. One of the entries has me puzzled. It is a baptism for "Orella Loveless" on July 26, 1888. The only person I can think of that this might be is John Wesley Loveless's youngest known daughter, who was listed as Francis O. Loveless in the 1880 census. She was born ca 1875, so would have been around 13 years old at the time of the baptism, if this is her. I don't see the Loveless name elswhere in the register, so don't know if they were members here. I would have expected them to attend church in Possum Valley where they lived. Any additional information would be appreciated, on either Prairie Hall or on Orella Loveless. I had always assumed she died young, since I only found her in 1880. But it seems she at least lived to be a teenager. Now what happened to her after 1888? I don't remember that church but Prairie Hall is located on the road from Monticello to Long Prairie. I'm sure the road has a number now, but it didn't back in the 1950s. C.L.
