We visited the Library (weekdays) when we were there in May, also the deed records in the court house. All is very easy to find. At the Library I enjoyed reading the Lincoln County book that told the establishment of the county. Many articles from the hometown people. I would say that it would be a must to see. Bea

She was the daughter of ???Jordan (cant find anything about him) and Maggie Belle Lee (who came to Parker CO TX with other family members about 1891 when my grandmother was about 6 mos old and ??? Jordan, her husband was killed in a horseback riding incident according to family history. She was the grandaughter of Anson Polen Lee and Arabella Nicholson Bedwell. My gr grandmother's sister's and other family are in the Bedwell bk or Old Times Not Forgotten, but the information is wrong and if there is a correction I would like to have it in the corrected part. My name is Cheryl Lee Walters and my husband is James Edwin Parr. My dad was Everett Eric Walters and he was married to Dorthea Jean Bradford. My grandmother's mother's name was Annie Belle Jordan. She was the daughter of ???Jordan (cant find anything about him) and Maggie Belle Lee (who came to Parker CO TX with other family members about 1891 when my grandmother was about 6 mos old and ??? Jordan, her husband was killed in a horseback riding incident according to family history. She was the grandaughter of Anson Polen Lee and Arabella Nicholson Bedwell. Bill, Our Brown family was from the same area. We even have an Alexander Brown but our dates do not match. Was your family originally from Catawba Co. N.C.? Our GGgrandfather came from there. Is it possible that your Alexander was his brother.
