Matt (and anyone else who may be interested in the Floods of Drew County), Hi, Matt (and anyone else who might be interested in the Flood family in Drew Co), The Sally mentioned below was the daughter of John R. Fletcher Flood and Martha Garner. She was born ca 1883 in GA (probably Murray Co). She married ?? Dyer ca 1902 and had divorced him by 1910. Their son Flander was born ca 1903 (he was 7 in the 1910 census). Flander was born in GA, but he and Sally were living with her parents in Monticello, Drew Co, AR in 1910. Her second marriage is news to me (as daughter Susan was to you). Matt, I don't know why I didn't ask before, but I'd like to include John G (Greer?) and Nannie's descent on my webpage. I know of a daughter born about 1917 (I won't name her here because I don't know whether she is still alive), but they obviously had at least one son since you inherited the Flood surname. Also, may I include your Flood line on my page? I'll see what I can find out for you on Nannie and on Vera Hankins. It's possible that one of my great-aunts may be able to supply some information. If not, I'll see what the Memphis library can supply. I'll let you know what I find out. Old Times Lamb familyhistory includes a Deborah A Hall. And a Thomas C and Thomas Carrol Lamb. Do not see your Hall in Hall family history. There is a Maxwell family history, but do not see Susan. Same with Harper. Do you have additional names in these families ? will look up for you , if so. I am interested in exchanging information with anyone researching FLOOD or HANKINS from the Monticello area. John R. Flood died in 1914 and is buried at the Oakland Cemetery. There is a James L. ROSS (52) Scotland, shown on the 1850 St. Francis Co. Johnson Twp. P.53 Census. It lists: Ann (36), Mary H (23), Sarah Jane (18)*, Margaret (16) Sidney J. (13), Benjamine (8), Elizabelth (6) Katheryn (4) and John (1). I am particularly interested in the Sara Jane who shows to be 18 at this time. Would anyone out there have this family in their line? My ggg grandfather, William Carroll RAGSDALE married a Sarah Jane ROSS but she was killed about three year after they were married and I can't find any rercord on her. Story has it they were married in St. Francis Co but I just found out today that records have been destroyed there three times. However, we believe they moved south (maybe Drew Co). Possibly, this is where she died. In any account, I would like to have her information if I can possibly find someone related. (I have information from her on down) I know she belongs to someone out there. Karen Anyway,
