Hello List, Thanksgiving came early for me; on Wednesday, a man wrote to say that his mother went to school with my mother! :-) How wonderful! I have wanted to know more about her life as a child for years and there are few left in the family who can answer my questions (the others choose not to or ???). Seems that Cloa Jean Treat (now Benton) went to school with Hazel Conrad in the late 1930s, somewhere near Tillar. The D.G. Lee family lived near there, too. Cloa's son, James, is going to send me more information after he talks with his mother. He also sent some Newton and Osborn (Osburn?) obituary information. The Bentons lived on the Teeter farm in the 1950s and 60s; my family lived near the Bickham brothers in the 1930s and 40s. I think if we share some family memories, especially with names, we might trigger some connections around here. :-) Happy Thanksgiving...all year long! Jo-Ann Stephens
