Do you folks remember these two. Mrs Shepard taught 5th grade at Watson and Mrs Ussery taught 6th grade. Mrs. Shepard was the wife of Mr. Clifton W. Shepard who either taught agriculture or possibly one of the veterans classes so popular after World War II. Mrs. Ussery was the mother of Mack Ussery, a classmate of mine, and the wife of Mr. B.S. Ussery who was on the school board. All of this would have been in the year 1948.
