My husband and I engaged in a"heated argument" tonight on the way home from a Christmas contata.....about Desha Central, of all things!! Could someone please tell me where it was/is located?? He thinks it was close to Tillar. I really can't remember!! We attended Banks school, in Bradley county, where my husband's father was coach.......we used to play basketball against a team at Desha Central. I've tried to find it on a map and have had no luck. The years were in the early 60's. From an old score book I find the following surnames for Desha Central: Stinson, Capps, Slaughter, Cook, Tilly, Gilbert, Holloway, Morgan, Mankin, Henson, Mitchell, Howell, and Isreal.
