Wanda's a good name for a wife or dog...as long as you keep your priorities straight: I hope he spent more time at home with his wife, Wanda, than he spent in the doghouse. Speaking of names, does anyone on this list have access to any Desha Co. records? If so, maybe we could share some information with each other (discreetly, of course - I don't want to violate any copyright laws or step on compilers' toes). I'm sitting here fairly empty-handed in Indiana but I did order a head of household list for the 1850 census for Eastern Arkansas. Anyone have family in the county back then or need me to check on a surname? I'll try to get to the library by next Tuesday night (05 Oct) so let me know by then, if possible.
