>From the LDS International Genealogical Index as of 1995: In 3 May1847 David R. Mattix, son of Edward Mattix and Elizabeth Bond, married Catherine Louise "Eliza" West. He was born in Lawrence/Randolph County, AR abt 1821. I have no more information on her. Two of her sisters-in-law Margaret Ann and Cynthia and their husband ended up in Crawford Co. by 1836 so David and his wife may have moved west also. Washington Co. is just above Crawford Co.
