I am looking for information on my grandparents and greatgrandparents. My Greatgrandfather was Albert Dillard Yearton born 1861 (not known where). He married my greatgrandmother, Delilah Jane Moore, born 1854 (not known where), on June 5, 1881 in Crawford County, Arkansas. They owned land in Graphic, Crawford County. They had 2 boys and 3 girls, of which my grandmother, Hannah Myretta Moore, was one. Albert died in 1906 and is buried in Pope Cemetery, Graphic beside Delilah who died in 1922. My grandmother, Hannah, was born in Graphic 10-20-1892. She married Virgil Roland Vaught 9-10-1910. Virgil was born in Alma, Crawford County, Arkansas on 8-16-1888. They had 5 children born in Graphic:Drucie Mae, Bulah Raye, Eulah Faye (twin to Bulah), Routhes Newvinia (unsure of this spelling-I always knew him as Earl), and my father, Selmer Lee (born 8-31-1916). They then moved to Kansas, where Beatrice was born. From there, they moved to Oklahoma where there last two daughters were born. I have found some information on Delilah, but so far have been unable to find anything on Albert Yearton or on Virgil Roland. My dad says he remembers his family saying that Virgil was a twin. His brother was killed while working on the railroad. Was buried somewhere in the area, but when the Arkansas river overflowed, his grave had to be moved somewhere. He also says his brother was named after this uncle (Rothus Neuvinia?). Would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks, Alice Roberts [email protected]
