Hi: A ver nice researcher on another mail list sent this to me involving the Hinds surname. Since some of these were Crawford Hinds I thought I would post it to the Crawford list. The Major John Hinds who died in 1838 and the Davis Hinds (really David Hinds) is his son. Does anyone know about this Benjamin Hinds tried for murder at Ft. Smith?
