I would like to have some help with two marriage look-ups if anyone has the records and the time. James Reed and Emily. They are in Van Buren, Arkansas in 1870 census with one child born in 1869. Emily (ARK) was 22 and James (TN) was 24. I think they were married somewhere in Crawford county before 1869 when they had their first child. Since Emily was 22 in 1870, they were probably married between sometime in the mid to late 1860's. I wish I could find a marriage record that would give me Emily's last name. It is possible that they were not married in Crawford, but in another county in Arkansas. I have looked for marriage records before and couldn't it. I worry that Emily is a nickname or middle name. I would like to find all of the records for any James Reed married in Crawford (maybe in Arkansas) in the 1860's. Marriage of James Reed and Martha E. (from Il.) James Reed was remarried to Martha E. by the 1880 census -- still living in Van Buren, Crawford county. Martha and James' first child was born in 1877 or 1876 so I assume that they were married between 1871 and 1876. I think they were married in Crawford county. I would greatly appreciate help. Thanks.
