I'll try to find time to look at Washington Co. to see if he left for Washington Co. after he paid taxes in 1830 but before the census taker arrived on his doorstep. This is what the AIS Census 1830 Index has for him: Clair, Hiram Crawford Co. AR 002 tx 1830 Clair, Hiram Washington Co. AR 003 tx 1836 Clair, Hiram Washington Co.
