Hi: Here are the newspapers and dates covered by Sue Clark in her book, "DEATH AND MARRIAGE ANNOUNCEMENTS FORT SMITH AND VAN BUREN, ARK. 1844-1886". As you can see the title of the book is a little mis-leading. Only the Episcopal church records go to 1886. Van Buren papers go to 1858 and Ft. Smith to 1866. But, it is still a fantastic book. Kudos to Sue Clark. The price with shipping - just $10.00. I also looks to me like we need to look through our own old newspapers for those issues below that are missing. And donate them to the Ft. Smith Library to fill in their gaps.
